Grad Student, Samantha Queeno wins “Best Student Poster” at AAPA Conference!
Graduate Student Samantha Queeno won the American Association of Anthropological Genetics’s Outstanding Trainee Presentations in Anthropological Genetics award for best student poster at this year’s AAPAs! Sam’s research seeks to understand the molecular underpinnings of distinctive human traits using functional genomics. Her poster presentation was entitled ‘Using a Mouse Model to Study the Evolution of a Bipedal Trait: Characterizing the Regulatory Landscape of Muscles with Divergent MHC I Expression’.
