Jessica Stone was awarded an NSF dissertation grant on her first try!

Please congratulate Jessica Stone who was awarded an NSF dissertation grant in the amount of $24,822 for her project “Genetic and Isotopic Investigation of Populations Origins and Dispersals in Palau, Micronesia.”

I should note that Nelson Ting has been instrumental in helping Jess with the genetics part of her research over the last few years and was also listed as a co-PI on this grant. In addition, it is notable that Jess received both her Wenner Gren (2014) and this NSF on her first try.

Congrats Jess!!
