UO grad students win awards at this year’s UO Graduate Research Forum

Congrats to Matt Napolitano and Annie Caruso for winning awards at this year’s UO Graduate Research Forum!
Matt won 1st place in his category for his poster titled “Colonization in the Land of Stone Money: New Investigations on Yap, Western Caroline Islands” and tied for the “People’s Choice Award”. This is Matt’s third consecutive year of winning a prize at the forum.
Annie won 3rd place in the “3 Minute Thesis” competition for her project “Decolonizing a University of Oregon Archaeological Excavation in the Southern Caribbean.” She will compete in the finals next week against OSU.
